Hey all, I was looking into the mid-year reports and I’m not sure if I want to send mine in. A couple of my Professers didn’t upload grades yet so I don’t want to send in a report with some classes missing.
Do you think this would hurt my chances or should be fine? I saw that mid-year reports are recommended but do people still get accepted without sending a mid-year report (or sending a report the week before the decision day b/c that’s when grades should be posted by then)?
@VirginiaAlps you will still be accepted without sending it. My college does not even do midterm grades so I can’t send anything, and it is fine. Apparently, UVA doesn’t even send out midterm grades either. They will understand.
Does anyone know when orientation is for transfer students? Do our sessions happen combined with the first-year orientations? Are we looking at like July or August? Wondering because I have some travel planned around those months
Wow best of luck ya’ll! We’re lookin at 22 days until decisions! Post your decisions here so we can celebrate together!
Lol I have a strong feeling I’ll probably get wait-listed and will have to wait another month for a decision because my luck is close to zero when it comes to getting a clear cut decision. Hopefully it’s either accepted or denied 3 weeks from now, opposed to playing the waiting game for another month.
I just got my winter quarter grades. They improve my overall GPA so I want to upload them to my application to increase my chances of getting accepted. How can I do this?
@cat2018 If by winter grades you mean unoffical midyear reports, then you should just scan and email them to uvaapplicationinfo@virginia.edu, but if they are offical university transcripts then you should have your school offically send them.
Hey, so my friend from NOVA CC is wondering what his chances are. He says to be as honest as possible. So obviously he attends NOVA CC, his first semester gpa is 3.4, his HS gpa is 3.6, no mid year report, no ECs, 1 rec. What are his chances?
What major is he applying to? @iamworried264
A school like McIntire? Almost impossible. An easier college is possible, but I’d say 3.4 is still pretty low. Also no mid-term report doesn’t help either.
