<p>@agg999 When I visited UVA over the summer, the admissions officer who ran my information session said that apps are initially read by 2 different adcoms. If they both reach the same conclusion on accept/waitlist(or defer for EA)/deny, that’s your result. If they disagree, your app goes to a larger committee that decides your result.
