UVa, UPenn, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, W&M, Cornell, Pitt, UMich

bump! please chance one final time  for Cornell, UPenn, and UMich

if you were rejected by northwestern and johns hopkins, then the chances of getting into Penn are quite slim to practically none. Cornell will probably also be rejection, maybe waitlist. You could get into UMich. Of course this is all just statistically speaking, anything can happen you could end up getting into all three.

@Penn95 hoping I get into at least one! Definitely not getting into Penn though lol

@Penn95 then again, I applied BME to both NW and JHU, and their acceptance rates for that particular major are like sub-zero tbh

Your Stats look really great. But your SAT’s are a bit on the low side for Upenn and JHU! You never know what would happen! Maybe, you’ll get into both of them! Another impressive thing that I have noticed is that you have already attained 30 college credits, while still in high school! That would definitely look impressive on your college application! Honestly, If I were you, I would throw in two safeties, just in case something happens! It’s less likely for that to happen for you! Anyway, I would like to wish you all the best!

Rejected by all 3! Great! My hard work has definitely paid off!

@exoheat11, I know how disappointing this is and I’m so sorry that you’re hurting - I’ve been following your story over in the UVA forum. W&M is an excellent option as is Pitt. My daughter felt much the same as you did when she graduated from HS and had choices that were not her top picks. All of your hard work and additional credits will be very beneficial when you do enroll - you will have the study habits that other students may not have developed, you will be able to enroll in advanced coursework that much sooner, you’ll have the flexibility to explore other courses that may just be interesting to you rather than required for your major.

Let us know where you decide to enroll. You’ve already accomplished a great deal and I know you will be successful at your chosen school. They will be lucky to have you.

I understand your frustrations @exoheat11. My child is 3rd year biomedical engineering student. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to pm me and I would be glad to help. I am familiar with VA schools since we are instate.
