UVM vs UNH business school - trying to choose

Hi... my DS has been accepted to both and is leaning towards UVM. I was just wondering if anyone out there has any information regarding the quality of business education UVM vs. UNH. Thanks in advance!

I don’t have an answer but what do you know about that UVM busines program? I don’t know much myself. My D was accepted for Accounting to UVM but also into U Del but didn’t get in to Accounting at U Del. Need to decide whether better to go UVM and be assured of major versus real pushing to make the cut at end of year 1 for U Del. Need at least 3.2…

Sorry, just got back here. I just know what I heard on Accepted Students Day. It is very small, but not too small, so the kids get a lot of attention. They seem to have good advisors. There are no mandatory internships, which kind of bothered me, but I guess its hard to find paid internships, so a lot of kids opt not to do it. I liked the Dean and some of the professors I met. I have since heard from neutral parties that it is on par with other New England State University Programs. Many graduates get good jobs afterwards. Hope this is helpful to you.

Thanks very much. Going this Saturday to visit.

Wittemore School of Business at UNH is far superior to anything at UVM. I don’t go to either so I am not biased, it just really is not close.

UNH is currently constructing a state-of-the-art facility for their new business school that will revival anyone’s in the country that is projected to be completed by January 2013.
