UVM vs. UNH Envionmental Science

My daughter is trying to decide which school to attend next fall. Both schools appear to have very good environmental science programs but it seems to us like UVM may have the advantage. Would people here agree that UVM may have a better environmental science department? Burlington seems to have much more to offer than Durham also. Are people at UVM happier with their college experience than their counterparts at UNH? What makes the decision harder for her is that after scholarships are factored in, UNH will be about $10,000 less per year and she would rather not spend the extra money for schools and programs that appear to be very similar. Any thoughts comparing these 2 schools?

TonyZ, we just visited UVM with my son and I spoke with a sophomore from New Hampshire who is majoring in environmental science. I asked why he chose UVM over UNH. He said even though it was expensive for his family he believed that UVM's environmental science program is superior. Also, he asserted the UVM students are generally happy and friendly.
