That’s crazy that you can be accepted in to a major, but not know if you were accepted into the school…
Right! I find that so bizarre. What if you get declined acceptance into the actual school even if you got into the major? Then what…
So you think if they changed our major that’s what we were accepted as or would be accepted as?
I think it would be weird if they changed your major if they weren’t considering you for acceptance…
This gives me hope
Not a lot… just a little
I wish we could get our decisions this month or at least early next month. I can’t wait!!
@transfer3018 SAME it sucks having to SIR at a school in the beginning of May when UW could send our admissions decisions on like May 2
same i want to find out lol
Just keeping checking MyUW this week! That includes the unofficial transcript to see if it loads! We need a glimmer of hope from someone!
Hi there!
New to this thread
Where do I check to see if my “unofficial transcripts loads”?
If you go to the MyUW portal, and click on financial aid status, you will get to a page which allows you to click on Unofficial Transcript.
How far along are you guys on your gen. ed requirements? Like english, foreign language, etc. Will you have to complete any once you get to the U?
@linnearrr I completed my AA during winter quarter & did my two years of a language (ASL) in High School.
@julietjuju3 did you check the gen ed requirements for your major? For example, my major requires 15 credits of writing, but the AA only required 10. I emailed the admissions advisor and asked if I could add a prospective writing course to my application (which I will take at CC this summer), in hopes that it will help my chances.
Did anyone else get the email from uw police about the armed robbery today?
@linnearrr Oh no. For my major, it’s like 20 credits instead of the 15 credits that are needed to graduate CC. But I assume the extra 5 credits in the different discipline areas will be taken in the next two years of school. Because to transfer, you can’t have more than 90 credits I don’t think (correct me if I’m wrong)
Did anyone else get the email from uw police about the armed robbery today?
@linnearrr No!! What happened?
I guess some guy was robbed at gun point on 12th ave, near UW. Scary stuff! But the email also said “This message is being communicated to all faculty, staff and Seattle campus students with the approval of the UW Police Department.” - got me kind of excited to see that it was sent to “seattle campus students” lol but it probably means nothing and I just read into everything these days.
