Hey everyone, I’m still waiting for an update but I was wondering if anyone knew if/how I could send an updated transcript to UW? Or I have my winter quarter grades and I thought it might be worth a shot to send them (I know it’s super late lol) but I’m just super worried and my grades got way better over winter quarter!
I am an in-state CC transfer student with 80 STEM credits and 35 non STEM credits with an accumulative 3.86 gpa. My requested majors are aeronautics and biochemistry. I applied for Autumn quarter and my personal essay was not the best. MyUW has not updated with anything new, my unofficial transcripts have not loaded, and no email. I have not heard anything.

Just checked my portal and I GOT in to UW with assigned major Computer Science

@TylenolPM also my portal hasn’t updated either. It still says waiting for decisions even though I got accepted by the iSchool which means I got accepted into the school

@hhopefultransfer Yeah. I think it’s almost impossible to be rejected by Uw after getting accepted from the department.
@compsci2200 yeah, unfortunately still nothing. Congrats on getting in though!! It does seem like they have sent out notifications every Friday.

I’m an in-state CC transfer student. By the time I applied my GPA is 3.98 and I haven’t taken CS143 UW’s equivalent class (I believe somewhere on UW CS site, their mentions that to be a strong transfer applicant the student should have all CS prereq classes graded by the time their applied) but I have taken all higher math classes (linear algebra, diff eq, and cal4, also physics 1,2,3).
I’m not sure if my essay was really strong or not. For ECs, I am a president of the CSE club in my college, and I did couple undergrad research and was able to present my work at UW undergrad research symposium.

@NonameUW Sure! I am getting my AAS degree from a CC in WA. My GPA is 4.00. Taken all the calculus series, linear algebra, two CS prerequisites, one Physics and one CHEM with lab. Work experience as a CS tutor with some club and volunteering activities…
how do you out of state students plan to pay? its like 50 grand or 60 grand a year for UW for out of state

@dallycpoz I’m OOS. I plan to take out private loans. I’m a transfer student but I’m in my mid 20s with really strong credit so I’m hoping I don’t need a cosigner because I don’t have one. I live on my own. I did do a lot of research though
Is everyone receiving UW decision emails to their personal email account? The one that you provided on the application or are you checking uw email id too?
