Do you mean Friday, the 27th? One of my friends who is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from UW told me that when he applied for both EE and Mechanical Engineering about 2 years ago, he got the rejection letter from EE first then the acceptance letter from ME. He thinks that the departments would send out all the rejections first then the acceptance letters.
Yep, the 27th is what I got from my friend. I think different engineering department release decisions at different times.
No news from the EE department yet.

A friend of mine called the EE department to check when they will release their decisions and they replied the decisions would be sent out next week. Good luck!
So they literally wait until the end of the July… It’s so bad. Sigh

I guess most of us do. I graduated from CC with AS degree
Then, GPA is the most important part normally.
I have two other top 10 universities in EE admitted me.
However, I am still waiting for UW is because I followed UW EE to plan my four years academic plan. Technically, only the UW EE can ensure that I can graduate on time.
Which one you will choose other than UW? I got in Purdue and Penn State. I will go Purdue if I am not admitted by EE UW

Did everyone receive a result? I applied to informatics and EE but haven’t received ANYTHING from UW admissions yet. The last email I got from them is asking for a copy of a transcript from one of the schools I attended, and in that email, if the transcript isn’t submitted, my application file will be closed and that email will be the final communication I receive regarding my 2018 app. The school said the transcript was mailed promptly but now I’m worried maybe it didn’t reach the admissions office and my application is closed without my knowledge.
There is no update on MyUW, and when I check on iSchool website for my informatics application, apparently, I don’t have any started applications. And now, it seems like the decision for EE is out, but I haven’t received anything, neither denial nor acceptance. Who could I contact to ascertain if my application is pending decision or withdrawn?
Given that it is a COE application, I think you should email the department you applied directly.
And you should send some documents to them to prove that you sent the transcript.
Thank you tszsan. I thought everything was in order, but there was a shade of doubt that the transcript may not have been delivered. Now, that doubt is becoming stronger as it seems like I’m the only one who hasn’t received a decision. I have an email exchange with the school officer where I’ve included a scanned copy of a request for transcript and a confirmation email saying that the transcript was processed. I will first find out my application is pending a decision, and if it has indeed been closed because the transcript never reached the office, I will forward my correspondence and see if that helps.
