UW-Madison and SATs

does wisconsin take the BEST score of each section on your SATs or do they just take the BEST ONE SITTING score?

so basically, if you took the SATs two times and 1st time you got (600,600,600) and 2nd time if you got(700,500,500) would wisconsin take the scores as (700,600,600) or just (600,600,600)

Your best overall, one-sitting, SAT score will be used.

does wisconsin take RUSHED SCORES? skools like penn state specifically don't want students rushing SAT scores so..... iwas wondering if wisconsin is like that or not

I am not sure, too. Will you mind to call the admission office and post back what you find out for us?

sure, i gues i will call them during skool tommorow.

yeh. they accept rushed scores.

hey dallas808

I read the site and it states that they will take the highest "combined" score or the score closest to the 2400. So doesn't that mean that they will take the best score from each sitting? unless i'm misinterpreting it.

"We consider each and every test score during the application review process. Ultimately, the highest combined score will be noted as such. For the SAT, with the total possible score now at 2400, we will take the result closest to that mark. On the ACT, we will take the highest ACT Assessment score (out of a possible 36) and the highest ACT Writing Test result, whether or not they were achieved during the same sitting."

so does that count as superscoring? is it superscored or individual sitting for SAT?

When you rush scores (especially for the Jan. 27th test date) must you wait until the scores are up online an available?
