I just transferred to UW. I have never taken summer classes anywhere so I am unsure about tuition. I wanted to just take one class (5 units) over the summer (full term) and I was under the impression that we can pay per unit or something, but is summer quarter tuition the same as regular tuition per quarter. I am really confused. If i do have to pay the whole tuition, shouldnt i just take more classes?
Thanks

There you are! I think some of the confusion may arise from the fact that it says: "Matriculated students pay tuition charges based on their classification, whether they are an undergraduate, graduate or professional student, and not on course level. ". They have different credit costs for undergrads/grads/etc so I think that’s where the “classification, not course level” bit arises.

But given the chart, it seems you pay per credit.

thank you, thank you, thank you!
