@jeffoh93 I am not an Engineer. I am in the ISS (Integrated Social Science) program. This is just the time that the College of Engineering releases their decisions, and there are a boatload of people in that College. The Foster School of Business already notified its students, so that is why they are gone as well…

@CallMeADawg Yes, I did meet all of their requirements. I have alright GPA (3.39). When do you think the general admission is gonna sent out their decisions? Do you think I have any chance of at least getting accepted into the school?
White envelop . So sad. My GPA is 3.42 and my application met all UW Tacoma request. I have no idea about where I can apply to study now.
@Sam081 They should have them all out by the end of this month, AFAIK. There have been students that were offered to attend that were not able to get into the major they requested.
Thats a bummer @nguyenvuong you can always apply in Winter Quarter.
I know I can reapply for winter but I need to take some more class. That’s waste my time and money. Anyway… Thanks all
@nguyenvuong You can always take the class at a different school during Fall and transfer the credit to the UW in the Winter, provided they accept the class as being equivalent. You should call an advisor about that to be sure.
Hi guys. I was admitted to EE department by email last Friday. However, nothing changes on my transcript and I haven’t received my packet yet. Advisor told me I have to wait for the office for the final decision coz I only heard back from the major. What could I do if I get deny general admission? Could it happen? Anyone know? Thank you!

@Tnguy92 it rarely happens if you have been accepted into the department, however, I would not say that it is not impossible. Have you completed the CADR required by UW ? If you have done so, you should not be worried, you will hear back soon
Got my acceptence email from the ME department yeasterday, transcript didn’t load, and nothing change on my UW, haven’t heard from general admission yet, waiting for the mail to be official. Good luck every one!

@kevoo11 Im not sure that I completed CARD. I have 85 credits for now and taking Music110 in the summer to complete my AS option 2.
You guys know how often we will receive general admission after getting admit to the department? Im EE.
If you are missing anything CADR related the UW would have already contacted you about it. If you are accepted into your major you are in. If general denied you, an appeal would be easy to win.

I dont know if any EE or engineering received admissin to major before getting into school like me?
I think they all got the email from the dept, but nothing from general. I am in the same boat, although I am not in Engineering.
From what I’ve heard. is that if you put in your general application that your intended major is a competitive one then general admissions will wait to hear back from that department before making their decision.
So we have to wait for office Admission to send the packet. Then, we will confirm $300 to enroll, right? Or we can confirm now?
