UW vs. UCSB

any input? im from southern california so UW would be a big step. i love both schools though

I’m from southern california too and I chose UW just because I’ve lived here my entire life and I really want something different. I mean of course the sun is great, but I want a new experience, something away from that. Anyway, that’s just why I’m going next year haha, hope this sorta helped

@OP - there are a lot of factors here:

What are you thinking about studying? Majors?
Type of living - apartment, dorm, Greek? We can compare the situations at each university.
Weather - Some people HATE it here. Some people LOVE it here. Can you stand rain? :stuck_out_tongue:
Job opportunities - Similar to what you’re thinking about studying; are you looking for coops or internships? Perhaps networking for post-graduate jobs?

yeah itd be cool to experience something new but its also a big risk.

right now im undecided college of arts and sciences (for economics), but if i went to UW i would try to transfer into business which i know sb doesnt have. as far as greek system goes, i am going to rush.

id either live in the dorms or the frat, not an apartment though. as far as weather, i can live with rain. internships and job opportunities would be great, and if i could get either, that would be awesome

imo uw will give you a lot more opportunities than ucsb will
