<p>I agree, I don’t think it has anything to do with your last name.
If I had to take a wild guess, I’d say that they go through ALL the applications, accept those that they feel are well rounded, and then reevaluate the ones that they felt “skeptical” about.
It only makes sense that they look at everyones application before accepting anyone.
Just my take on all of this haha.</p>

<p>I’ve been following this thread for couple of days. Good luck to you all. This may give you all some hope. I am a former college drop out. My grades were mostly c’s and f’s and lots of w’s. After dropping out I completed the electrical apprenticeship through the union. I returned to college to pursue a business degree to open my own business. I’ve been attending south seattle cc for 6 quarters. I will have an AA at the end of this after this quarter. My avg GPA at south has been 3.7. All this being said my transcripts just loaded for uw seattle 10 minutes ago! Pretty stoked </p>

The biggest worry for me is the fact that my application had numerous errors.
From a couple spelling errors on my personal statement to accidentally forgetting a couple courses on the courses section, it wasn’t the most clean application.
With that being said, my admissions specialist did say that he made a note of my corrections that I sent him, so who knows…still waiting here! :)</p>
<p>My transcript loaded as Business Major accounting. Does that mean I got into Foster?</p>
<p>Considering @Puw2014 , @SPECtatiN and I are all business majors and our transcripts just loaded today, perhaps the order they are loaded has to do with intended major? </p>
<p>I too see my major listed as “Bus Admin (Finance)” What is encouraging to me is that it doesn’t say “pre-business” or something like that. It also says my class standing is a Junior and under “college” it reads “Business School.” </p>
<p>I’m not sure if this means we got into Foster, but it certainly isn’t bad news. Apparently the UW native students who applied to Foster got an email saying their decision would be announced Nov 7 which is tomorrow… [-O< </p>

<p>It’s fairly accurate judging from past threads. Although the admissions office states that it is not indicative of anything, those that have had their transcript load usually received an acceptance letter 3-4 days later. I guarantee that you got in.</p>
<p>I mean it hasn’t happened to me or your friend that got accepted without it, so it doesn’t happen for everyone!</p>

I have read just about every transfer thread on CC and I have never seen anyone say their transcript loaded but they did NOT get in. I guess we will know soon since ours loaded.</p>
