If you were accepted by the U.S. UWC committee this year, could you post your stats so that future applicants could learn from your experience. Also, which UWC will you attend and why did you choose that one?

This is a little old, but if you still want it:

PSAT: 226
GPA: 3.93
APs: world history 4 (self-study), gov, english lit, stats
ECs: own web development company, debate/forensics captain, computer science club founding president, etc.

I’ll be going to the US school. We don’t get to choose.

Congratulations! All the UWCs sound great. I’m sure you’ll love it. Thank you for posting your stats. Were you involved in a lot of service activities? I’m hoping my son will have a chance when he applies in a couple years. Also, are you coming in after your sophomore or junior year?

Thanks! Glad to help.

I’m currently a junior, as are the majority of accepted students. It’s certainly worth applying as a sophomore though, as you can get 2 chances.

I don’t really have many service activities at all, just what I do from my clubs (student council, computer science) and company (donation of profits).

While it certainly is competitive, give it a shot. I definitely didn’t think I had a chance, but my genuine passion came across effectively and got me accepted.
