Thank You in advance

I don't like people like you that come on here for us to boost your ego. The admissions officers won't like you either if you convey this attitude. I say 1-2.

Boost my ego? Are you jealous of my record or is something else nagging you?
I just asked a simple question and besides, this is the "what are my chances thread?".

you probably have a 1-2 chance. But don't count on the fact that you are an Inidan male. I'm Indian too, but there are so many Indians in Ivyleagues that it might even count against you.

paid money to perfect your admissions essays? that's pathetic. grow up and learn to do your own work, and not just pay people to do it for you...rich kids.

"Excellent essay(paid money to college advisors to perfect it)"
How pathetic...rich or not, learn to do your own work ( and don't come saying that I'm poor bastard who just holds a grudge against rich people, becuase I'm not poor I just hold a agrudge against lazy people who expect to go by thorugh life jsut becuase of their families fininacial status).

i admit you have excellent stats, but so do other people. i don't see any passions or interests in your ecs to differentiate you from the other applicants.

"Various leadership positions in various societies and clubs"

that sounds like a lot of clubs you are in, just for the sake of joining. you can't be dedicated or committed to all of them.

lol... people r jealous dude... i would be if i hadnt already been accepted... lizzy20 does have a good objective point... no real leadership position/ "hook"... two things that cant be overlooked when applying to a school like Princeton

"Boost my ego? Are you jealous of my record or is something else nagging you?"

I hate people who make these types of remarks. The person was saying that because your stats are GOOD, you have as good of chance at getting in as most people who apply to princeton. I would say around 50%. Based on your attitude of "Im better than you and I know it", I would say 10%. You KNOW that you have a good chance at getting in. Kinda like if you were to ask if your PSAT scores are good.

One of the two following things must be true:
Either you KNOW that you have good stats and a semigood chance, or you lack all common sense, are utterly stupid, and honestly think you have horrible stats. Hmm

Honestly though, your "are you jealous" statement/question was stupid. Why do you think that anyone who criticizes you is jealous? I have far worse stats than you, but at least I have an ok attitude/common sense. For example, at the shooting range someone asked me "am I good at shooting" and this guy was a show off who was really good, and knew it. I just said "do you have to ask?" and then the guy said that I'm jealous and *****. Yeah, I kick his ass when it comes to shooting, so don't think that anyone who criticizes anyone is not as good as you.

EDIT: I wasn't absent this semester and it was a first, but you had perfect attendence forever? O_O

"The only thing that could make you a better candidate for princeton is being a real person."

that is an extremely true statement. Take it or leave it

EDIT2: Why do you want to go to Princeton and what is your passion?

Well guys, let me give it to you straight up. I am sorry if i made any bad comments, cause i am for one ting, EXTREMELY retarded when it comes to public speaking. To tell you the truth i had anxiety disorder, so PLEASE forgive me for inappropriate aomments. Anyways, i want to go to Princeton for med school. I am very sorry if i dont sound passionate enough. And yes i do have a PERFECT attendance record. I even got awards for it every year in middle school and so far in high school : 0 absences. I dont mean to brag, but that is the TRUTH. As far as the essay goes, i paid for it to be PERFECTED, not write it for me. And for heaven's sake, it is NOT a crime. I am NOT rich, repeat I AM NOT RICH.

of course its not a crime, but you aren't going to get far in life having people "perfect" your own thing. Obviously if you need someone else to do it, than you can't carry your own weight. Your stats look fine, you have a good chance. But unless its a misunderstanding, your rank is top 10%? No matter what stellar ec's and resume's you have, if you're top 10%, uh. GL with that.

Thank you for your prompt reply. However could you explain this:
"But unless its a misunderstanding, your rank is top 10%? No matter what stellar ec's and resume's you have, if you're top 10%, uh. GL with that."

I think you will be lucky to get into a CC, better brush up on your waiting skills

Seriously what do you want? If you are going to put up a perfect resume what is the point of asking? Ask yourself, "could I have done better?" If you say no then this thread is pointless.

Now, if Princeton rejects you I want to go to the adcoms and yell at them. What else could they possibly want out of a student.

9.5

With that said I knew a guy in HS that had a 5+ (I think it might have been 5 exactly I don't remember) gpa 1600 sat, god knows how many awards and hundreds of hours of community service and still got waitlisted from Harvard.
