Most people might boast about having the highest grade point average in a class of almost 700 students, but valedictorian Bing Chiu and salutatorian Neha Bansal of South Brunswick High School's Class of 2007 certainly aren't the bragging types.

Bing and Neha will be attending Princeton University in the fall and are both contemplating studying areas of science.

"It feels great to be going to Princeton," Bing said. "I was also accepted at Rutgers University, but I like Princeton because of its proximity to home, the really good physics department, its challenging courses and the undergraduate focus. I am also a big fan of the stressed independent work there."

Neha might not be as thrilled about staying so close to home, but she's anxious to attend a college she appreciates both academically and aesthetically.

"I absolutely love Princeton, and I'm so excited to be going there in the fall, though perhaps not as excited to be so inescapably close to home," she said. "I chose it primarily because of the academics and the focus on undergraduates that would allow me better research opportunities, but also... because of how beautiful the campus is. Princeton was my early-decision school, and so I had applied solely to Princeton."

Congratulations to Bing and Neha and welcome to Princeton!
