And nothing sent out
I would like to add that if mail went out on a Friday, it was probably at the end of the work day and will probably arrive Monday or Tuesday. Just a thought.
hungihippo… I find it a little hard to believe that your aunt would be sharing info with you as most admissions offices require employees to sign confidentiality contracts…she is risking her job. For someone who has worked there 11 years, she would know better…
@ga1982 - @hungrihippo never said the aunt worked for admissions - apparently works in psych dept. At this time, all we all can do is wait.
I missed that the aunt worked in the Psych dept…looked back through the thread but must have missed it. Still doubtful that this info would be shared but yes, waiting is all that is left to do!
So… is it time to start hoping for tomorrow? Haha
@AlbionH it is now time to hope for today!
@MedSciBud Wish it could come out today but wouldn’t they have said last night?
@MedSciBud @AlbionH I believe most mail doesn’t deliver Sundays? I thought if anything it’d be Wednesday but thats just me – aunt hasn’t updated me
@hungrihippo yeah mail doesn’t deliver Sundays but Wednesday seems quite late in comparison to the past years.
Aren’t they supposed to announce the decision date on the Vanderbilt blog a day or two before admission decisions are released? That’s how it was in previous years.
Anyway, when are decisions expected to be released?
@hungrihippo when I said hope for today, I meant online results, but no announcements yet.
@MSYP100 we don’t really know. some students who were accepted early for mosaic were told that their original goal was to have them done by the 28th. apparently the packages were placed in the mail on Friday, but the school hasn’t told us anything yet. some applicants who called were told nothing really but to expect an email like the day before which hasn’t happened yet.
If the information about the 28th is correct than we can expect notification either tonight or tomorrow
But today is 26th.
Did anyone get a UPS or USPS notification for incoming mail?
Somebody should tweet at admissions and ask! I would do it myself but I don’t have a twitter account.
Someone must take one for the team
Why don’t admissions people just tell us the date of decisions being released?
I completely agree hate this silence especially considering most other schools were told way in advance
Almost all schools tell in advance.
Come on guys. Didn’t anyone hear anything about when admissions decisions are going to be released?
