Vanderbilt Fall 2019 Transfer Thread

When does the second wave come out?

@polyscidreamer My last name starts with an S

how can we send spring term grades for wl students? they are not up yet…

@PBMAX1 I submitted mine a couple weeks late
Did anyone get accepted for a specific major, or is it just “College of A&S”

When does the next wave come next week?

For anyone wanting stats, mine are on the first page. An edit: I ended up ending last semester with a 4.0

@polyscidreamer they haven’t done waves in the past, correct? Nothing one way or another over here. Seems weird there’s waves given they’re accepting, WL, & rejecting rn

I GOT IN!

Yes, Vanderbilt has more than one wave and yes, you can be accepted.
A couple of years ago the 2nd wave was May 8th.

I hope there is still room to get in! :slight_smile:

@sharang29 We are just accepted to a school, the major is not decided in admission.

@ryd123 mine says may 9th

Accepted :slight_smile:

@polyscidreamer Mine is an S. But I didn’t get anything today.

is there any way to delay sending the enrollement deposit so early and sending it a little later than May 9th?? Im still in school right now and wont have any time to visit vanderbilt to confirm my decision. also, i am awaiting decisions from a few other schools.

Congratulations to those accepted! I got waitlisted, but would anyone on the waitlist like to start a separate thread so we can know when people start getting off the waitlist? And keep the positive energy going!!!

I cannot keep waiting. This is annoying and stressful

@College? Nah… I’m waitlisted and I’d love to join a thread

@goodreads I’m feeling the same way. I have been excluded from every first and second wave so far and the waiting game is wearing me down. My last name begins with a Z—I’m not sure if that means anything.

Is a low ACT score a dealbreaker? really the ACT only predicts your success during your first year of college.

If you were to have ~3.7 GPA in college with a 4.0 midterm report but a 25 act (in theory) how would this impact your application?
