Vanderbilt Transfer Thread [Fall 2017]

Good luck everyone tomorrow! I will be sleeping to alleviate my anxiety and stress. I hope we all get accepted tmr and celebrate.

Good luck everyone for tomorrow!

Forgive me because this was probably mentioned in a past post, but should people hear back tomorrow, when would that be? (in EST)

@limitsbylaw It seemed to be early to mid afternoon in previous years, but could vary between app cycles, students, and counselors.

@limitsbylaw I think we decided sometime from 9 am to 4 pm. So basically…anytime (you’ll know when you see your notifications number on CC blow up lol).

Or we could not hear back at all.
-ugh-

@HopefullyIGetIn You have to believe because that’s all we can really do at this point.

For some reason I don’t think it’s gonna be tomorrow either :confused:

@limitsbylaw @VaishS
I’m just trying to be realistic. It could be tomrow but not gurantees, you know. Or it could be tomrow and I/you/we could not be on first waive. Hopin for the best and preparing for the worst

@HopefullyIGetIn That’s reasonable enough.

Sending good vibes to everyone. Hoping for the best for y’all.

All we could do now is hope for the best…

Would the first wave be out today?

Maybe. Who knows. All I’ve been told is that they are in the process of reviewing applications

Is anyone planning to call the admissions today for the release dates?

@inordie they likely won’t give any answers less vague than we’ve already been given

@luckybaby I think it’s entirely possible that the first wave will come out today; it seems that it happened that way on past transfer threads.

@limitsbylaw A few of us(hopefully all of us, really) will most likely be getting a decision today, if we follow the trends from the last two years.

It’s getting real now, so good luck and don’t let it consume your whole day!

If you applied to the peabody college is it possible to get a decision in the first wave?

@dullbd you can ~try~ to go to past threads and see if there was a trend but correlation doesn’t equal causation and also anything can happen so it’s all speculation
