I never got one of those, but I know my report made it to the office (my counselor confirmed when I asked)
@limitsbylaw Sadly, my counselor is out until May 1st. Which could probably also mean that my decision would not come out until much later.
@inordie I don’t think your counselor’s absence precludes you from receiving a decision before then. The admissions office has probably delegated all of the their files (yours included) to one or more other people to pick up the slack. This is definitely not the first time they’ve faced that sort of situation.
At any rate, believe that this suspense will be over soon and that you’ll leave the process with a Vanderbilt acceptance letter.
Also, do we know if there’s any chance of decisions being released during the day tomorrow rather than in the evening?

@somehmonggirl You do have a point there. I’m just so lost because to me, transfer admissions is still this mysterious thing shrouded in fog.
I just really hope I hear back soon.
@limitsbylaw annoying to hear and hard to really accept/put into practice, but at this point it’s best to just move on with your life and let getting your decision be a happy surprise rather than an event you’ve been anxiously waiting for. It’ll come, for sure. so i guess try to just be content with that for now…
Nahhhh but im 100% sure first wave is tmr. the admission kind of implied that by saying it will be released “very soon”

Just had an interview for a reality tv show so if I don’t hear back from Vandy soon I’ll just take that instead lol Hurry up Vandy!!!
At this point…I just want to know one way or the other. Not knowing is worse than knowing. I’m a non-traditional student so I just wish theyd hurry up so I can make other plans.

Based on 2015 thread, people seemed like they didn’t receive any email when they got their acceptance in the portal. Also, it seemed like people got their decisions in the early morning between 9am to 11am
at this point I feel like they are going to release everything at once cause they’ve taken so long! and @somehmonggirl It’s a spot on the show big brother 
I submitted an app 2 months ago totally forgot about it and then got a call from the casting director saying they want me lol
Hello everyone! I am one of those long time quiet creepers who has never commented. I was hoping that I could get some feedback on an issue that is happening with my admissions. I just realized one of my professors who was suppose to write me a letter never submitted his letter. I have another professor recommendation and one from my advisor that have been submitted. I am worried because the website asks specially for two teacher recommendations. Do you guys think the advisor one will be fine or should I be worried? Thanks!
