I got nothing. Unless it’s 5:15 PST
Does anyone know how many transfer students are waitlisted on average and how many of those are accepted?
Do Vanderbilt transfer admission officers contact high school counsellors after getting the high school transcripts
I think it’ll be on Thursday since the first wave was on Thursday
Does vanderbilt transfer admission office contact high school counsellors after getting the high school transcripts. Does it do it for admitted students?
It’ll most likely be Thursday for the next wave as the 10th was the final day accepted students could pay their deposits(unless they got an extension – which is unlikely). Admissions should have a good idea of what their yield looks like. Therefore, they’ll make final decisions based off of that.

I hope to see y’all on campus this coming fall!
I think they have sent out majority of decisions right?
@deliciousSteak According to their admissions blog, the first wave was our largest single release of transfer decisions in recent memory." So, I would take that as a yes.
I was admitted to Vanderbilt in the first round and just toured the school today. It has an absolutely beautiful campus and provides wonderful opportunities for its students.
However, during the information session, the admissions counselor (she was mostly explaining the application process for high school students) said that they had an increase of 3000 applications for first year admissions and are still trying to figure out the waitlist process for high school students and etc. In other words, they are nowhere close to finishing up the high school application process, which may explain why they have been late with transfer decisions.
I don’t know if this would affect transfer applicants but it appears that Vanderbilt has become increasingly competitive for both transfers and first year admissions. Best of luck to everyone!
Do we have till tomorrow at Midnight to submit deposit or tonight?
@brian2746 you think the info session is skippable for someone who has already been accepted as a transfer? I mean, I don’t really need to find out how to apply lol… or is there valuable info?
There is an opportunity for you to ask questions at the end of the info session and I asked a lot of questions about the credit evaluation process.
Does anybody know if by 5/10 means tonight or tomorrow night?
@“buddy1!” I have no idea, I just submitted a few minutes ago just in case. Excited to see you guys on campus this fall.
Is anyone here who paid the deposit also waiting for other school’s decisions? I paid deposit this morning but I’m still waiting for other schools
Do you think they’ll be pulling from the waitlist on this next wave?
Really hoping the second wave of admissions is today!
Anyone knows where to submit our immunization form?
