Vanderbilt Transfer Thread [Fall 2018]

I telephoned admission office again, and they said they have not seen my application this time…

They haven’t seen it as in they never received it? Or they just haven’t read it yet?

@TerrierNation They checked their system and found that they could not find my name neither could they find my email address. But I have received confirmation email in March.

That sounds like it’s 100 percent their fault. Did they offer you any solution to submitting your materials?

@TerrierNation They finally helped me solve all the problems, and my application is complete now. Thank you very much!

YOOO guys, first wave decisions will be out in about a week!

@NathaliaNhem Woo! But how do you know?

i called today and they said last week of april?

@butfirstcoffee @vandytransfer1 last year the transfers got their decisions on April 18

Maybe it will be different this year

they said last week of April? Ughhhhh

they said “expect to see the first wave on the last week of april” :frowning:

@vandytransfer1 aww man!! I was SO READY to see my results soon :frowning:

it’s okay. I can wait a few more weeks :frowning:

Last week of April? So the 30th?

@NathaliaNhem I know!! do you think it’s possible they’re just saying that to lower expectations? idk haha’ I was just so sure it was next week :frowning:

Last year, they said May 1st the day before they released decisions. Just saying you can’t always trust them.

I just called and they said mid-April. April 30th doesn’t sound like mid to me. I don’t know why they’re being so vague.

They’re just gonna keep giving different answers because they don’t want to be held responsible for giving out the information. I’ve been tracking dates from the past few years. Last year decisions were released on April 17th. April 11 was the first wave in the previous year. However, after the first wave, decisions are released almost every other day up until May.

My daughter was accepted as a transfer to Vanderbilt on May 8th last year.

The wait really stinks, but she love, love, loves Vanderbilt University, so the painful wait was worth it for her.
Hope those who have Vanderbilt as their dream school are accepted.

I just called again and the guy told me that decisions are released individually and not in waves. Get your stuff together Vandy! Admissions shouldn’t be a guessing game.
