Thanks, iansown! I didn’t get the email either. Hope, that doesn’t mean we weren’t admitted.

nope if you call you can ask for a invite

This is making me so nervous… I submitted my app in January and I haven’t heard anything!! I agree with elwaffle, I would call but I don’t think I could take rejection over the phone! Has anyone ever had that happen to them? Is it really awkward? I can just see it in my head…

Hello, I’d like to check my admissions status.
Yes, OK. Let’s see… I’m very sorry, but you were rejected.
Oh… alright… thanks anyway click

Is it worth it to not have to wait for snail mail? =/

I called to get my acceptance, but at this point I would just wait. I am sure snail mail will be arriving (for most) by the end of this week. I don’t think rejection would hurt any less in e-mail or mail. Rejection is terrible regardless of whether it is over the phone or in a letter. For me its just a relief to finally know something regardless of what the decision is. Good luck!!

^yea, I’m kind of content at this point waiting, I mean most likely it’s gonna be two or three days (let’s just hope). Has anyone gotten the actual letter though? Like is it a thin envelope or big package?? I know for ED it was really small so I don’t want to freak when I see it!

So I called this morning, and the lady told me decisions would be mailed out this week. Just the other day I heard that they would be giving decisions out over the phone, but she said that wasn’t true. The admissions office keeps giving me mixed answers, and at this point I think this is their way of avoiding rejecting me over the phone. Has anyone called the main office and received a decision, or do I need to call my regional counselor. At this point even if I’m rejected I just want to know–I have other commitments and decisions that are affected by this decision… :(

^I just called up and they told me they were sent out today.

I got my official letter in the mail today, so i suppose everyone’s letter will be coming VERY VERY soon

I also called in admissions today, the lady also told me that admission decisions were not given over the phone. So yeah, this makes me wonder…
How many people have received their decision letters already??? It’s already wednesday. O_O

I got mine two days ago…

pierce08, where do you live? I’m asking because I’m in NY, and I haven’t gotten anything yet…

I live in east-central Ohio (can see WV from my house hahaha).

Well, I called admissions today and they told me my application hadn’t even been evaluated yet. I submitted it on the priority deadline, March 1. Did they really not get to it or do they just not want to tell me over the phone that I’ve been rejected? =/ The guy told me to call back in two weeks if I haven’t heard anything, but I called yesterday too and they told me all decisions will be mailed April 15…

Decisions are sent out in batches. I submitted it near the deadline as well. I probably won’t be notified until next week, at earliest. Do not interpret a lack of a decision as an auto-rejection.

Thanks for giving me hope =)

i just dont understand why they would have there accepted student chat/transfer accepted student chat this past monday and today if all the decisions hadn’t already been mail and sent out??? I dont know just a thought…i hope its more of, they haven’t gotten to every applicant yet. :-/

Call them if you need a blanket of security. They will give you a invite

I called today and asked if my decision had been sent, and they said they couldn’t tell me and to just keep checking my mail =/

They told me that they would decide the 24th? I think its another way to say rejected

ooooh ya I wouldn’t be surprised…
