hi everyone! i was also put on the waitlist!! i thought maybe it would be helpful to have a better view of our chances if people posted which school they applied to within vanderbilt? (i know vanderbilt makes separate waitlists based on each school) i applied to peabody!
@CollegeIsHardxx hey so you should be able to email it to your admissions counselor - that’s what i did and she said it was completely fine being sent like that!
@trynabeaccepted okay thank you!!! And I applied to CAS!
college of engineering, ME
@pharmabro1 hey I applied to the engineering program. have you heard back yet?
@jackieswen I received my initial waitlist decision last week and that was the only correspondence.
@trynabeaccepted What major?! Same! HOD here.
@CollegeIsHardxx what is the “grades in progress” report? Where do you find it?
I’m applying for CAS btw!
cas
@TheLastofUs9 it’s like a midterm report. It’s on the Common Application
Does anyone know when they start taking people off the waitlist?
@urmom666 No inside info, but probably no earlier than May 11th. Freshmen deposit is due today, so VU Admissions will be attending to the freshmen wait list starting tomorrow for a week. On May 10th, transfer deposit is due. VU Admissions will attend to the transfer wait list after that date. My guess is anytime between May 11 - 25th for the second wave. Probably the week of May 14th.
Anyone knows the information about how many people will usually get off waitlist? When will they start to make decisions for waitlist?
@deliciousSteak I think it depends. I’m teally not sure how many people will get off. And as for when they will start making decisions, it depends on when the next waves are. Look at @bloomfield88 ‘s comment above.
@Vandycomeback I am HOD too
My son goes to school with a girl who was waitlisted at Vanderbilt. She got off the waitlist Friday and now will be attending. She did put a deposit on another school. She forfeits that deposit.
@Pennmom2022 she got off it this past Friday?
I think that’s for first year? not transfer
Does anyone know how many transfer applicants are waitlisted? And what percent of those will be accepted?
Isn’t today the day that the first wave of transfer acceptances have to put their deposit in? Does that mean they’ll be pulling people off of the waitlist soon or no
