aburch1 - your mail gets delivered around noon? Nice, never heard of anyone that gets it delivered that early. Usually it’s around 2-4pm…

the time on the thread is off 2 hours from east coast

Does anyone know if we’ll be able to change schools once accepted as a Sophomore? The woman I called at admissions told me yes, but I just wanted to verify with you guys, just in case you heard differently.

I hope. I applied as a poli sci major in college of arts and science with a second choice in HOD at peabody, but I think I just want to do HOD

I mean, if the woman at admissions told me yes, then I bet it’s a safe bet that we’ll be able to transfer within. However, I had another friend that called the admissions office, and the person they spoke to had absolutely no idea.

hey guys, I just emailed the counselor. Below is what she replied to me:

The first wave of transfer admissions will not go out until after April 18th. We cannot release decision over the phone or via email at this time.

Best wishes,

So we have to wait another week to get the result.

After April 18th? That’s incredibly deflating if true. I wonder why classof2013’s counselor said that the first wave had already been sent?

That’s interesting.

However, I looked at last years thread, and this kind of guessing game was apparent then, too. So, I’m assuming it depends on your counselor. I still haven’t gotten my mail today.

With standard mail, if they weren’t sent until Friday it most likely wouldn’t arrive until Tuesday or Wednesday, depending on how close to campus you live. So maybe if the first batch has been sent you’ll still get this week sometime. This contradictory info is killing me lol. The next week or two will be a long rollercoaster ride for many of us.

upstate new york. nothing for me today. this sucks

I think it’s only for my counselor because she said she will be out of office until 18th.

@syx - who is your counselor?
And what is up with all of these conflicting updates? I wish the counselors would all have the same info.

@Logan2011- Mine is Kaylie Stanley, I’m from Indiana

Nothing in Chicago Still waiting on an email response from my counselor.

“Until after April 18th” can mean May, June, July…In all likelihood we will begin to receive decisions next week.

Hey guys! I also emailed my counselor (Long Island, NY) and she told me the first batch is being mailed out ON April 18th. Then I asked her if I applied early (I completed and sent my out app in Jan.) would I be more likely to hear in the first batch? She replied “I believe you should…” Hope this helps!

^Cool. I also applied in January so hopefully I’m in the first batch.

I’m so confused. Anyway, I didn’t get anything yet, but my counselor said last Thursday that my letter should be in the mail ‘within the week’ (Friday).

So hopefully within the next few days – since I am far from Vandy

hi guys so i can see no one heard today and i didnt either. i think the first batch will go out on april 18 because i emailed admissions and that is what they said. ugh the waiting is killing me.
