Vanderbilt University Fall 2011 Transfer Thread

They’re need aware I think.

I thought they were need blind. I got in with a really low EFC so I don’t think they take that into consideration.

I think for freshman theyre need blind but for transfers it says they “reserve the right to be need aware”.

kinda hoping they’re need aware

Do you know when your application was considered ‘complete’?

Hm, when I applied a few years ago to Vandy, I heard back from them first (early March). It was nice having a Vanderbilt acceptance while I waited on the others. This year is going much later…I wonder what’s taking so long. The wait’s annoying :/

Someone mentioned they’re need aware, well I dunno I’d probs disagree with that because I got in during the first round of letters (the date on my letter is April 16th) and I definitely need a lot of financial aid haha my efc was something like 100 for this year.

All I know is that on the website it says they reserve the right to be need aware. It’s written under transfer admission. I’m sorry for everyone still waiting that is so annoying.

Waiting here in Texas, patiently :)

Madmen…definitely one of my favorite shows. Too bad none of my friends watch it so I can never talk about it lol

wuts a madmen and where can i get one?

You posted a pic of Don Draper from Madmen…I figured that meant you were into the show lol

i’m 12 and what is this?

I love madmen!

Lol at least I’ll be able to talk about the show with someone

Anyone here knows the statistics for waitlist admits?

I wish i would just know already I have to weeks to decide if im going to USC or not.

I was told by my counselor that a decision has been made, and it will be mailed sometime this week.

Needless to say, the e-mail was very neutral, almost depressing even.

O.O

I wouldn’t worry about it too much, Godric. My counselor was very neutral in the week before my letter arrived.
