Okay. So AP chem is a full year course. There are 4 quarters at my school.
I have been getting B's for the past 3 quarters already.
Now I just HAD to bomb the last quarter. I have a D+ and I think it will drop.

So I calculated everything, and with the "F" I might get, my FINAL grade will average to a C or C+.

SO my ultimate question is, will colleges look at the FINAL grade...or the quarter grade?!?!?!?!???
I just REALLY don't want them to take back their admission offer. (btw, it's not a prestigious school).

Oh man, I’m in the same predicament with AP Literature - except mine is a bit more extreme. I got mid-A’s for the past three quarters as well as a 100 on the midterm but now I’m rocking a low F (like, really low F) 4th quarter; it is to my understanding that colleges will receive your final transcript (which is your aggregate high school career transcript) which will only show final grades - unlike midyear reports which show two quarters, the final report will just show how you did in your classes in total.

Also, it is important to note that colleges DON’T want to rescind your offer of admissions - they do it only in extreme cases (multiple Fs, serious suspension, etc) - it is actually in their best interest that they keep your spot in the class because if they lose that spot, it’ll be a pain in the ass to fill it so late in the year when most of their WL kids have probably already fully committed (financially and emotionally) to another school.

Good luck (to the both of us) LOL.

Oh man. Senioritis though. Hitting us hard. LOL
