Very close... but not there

According to OU's website, I would receive full in-state tuition with a GPA of at least 3.0 and a SAT Math and Reading score of at least 1400.

So my GPA is about 3.6 and I got a 1390... just 10 points away from full tuition.

So does anybody think that OU can make some sort of exception to the 1400 rule? Does the writing segment of the test not factor in at all?

Would you consider retaking the SAT or the ACT? When we visited, they admissions officer said they superscore (however, I haven't seen that mentioned on the website), so I would call to be sure. I know they do not count the writing section.

I just called Ohio U and asked if they superscore, because my son needs to know that information as well - and the admissions person I spoke to said YES they do. So if you retake the SAT and can get one of your CR + one of your Math scores to add up to over 1400, then you're golden.

awesome thanks... looks like ill be retaking it and hopefully raising math

Or if you get a 32 on the ACT, they offer full in-state tuition.
