Ok. I want to apply to Stern. Disregarding the fact that I have limited chances of admission, am I eligible for finaid, especially need-based financial aid? What about loans? Can I apply for let's say $40k in loans a year?

and, MOST IMPORTANTLY.... where are the finaid forms?...i can't seem to find them anywhere on their website.

Please help me quickly. Thank you very much in advance.

NYU will give you information on loans when you get your letter of acceptance. Internationals are not eligible for needbased f/a. Actually, all of the internationals I know had to provide proof that they could pay for NYU before they could enroll. They had to send bank statements, tax returns, etc.

maxy, did you read my previous reply to you?? There are NO forms to fill out for internationals. Like I said, if you're accepted, you'll get information THEN about the loans which are available to international students. Here's the official word from the Admissions b/b:

There are a limited number of scholarships for international freshmen. Since these awards are extremely competitive merit-based awards and not need-based awards, there are no additional forms to complete. The maximum awards granted in the past total less then 1/4 the total annual expenses. As a result we expect that international students be able to provide the full cost of their education through their own resources.

Accepted international freshmen may apply for one of several types of educational loans, some of which do not require a US co-signer. Information about these loans will be included with your letter of acceptance.
