Hello, I am an incoming transfer student planning to major in Journalism in the SAS. Right now, I have 57 transferable credits and in my community college, I have 61 credits so far earned towards my degree, 4 credits away from getting my Associate's Degree. Currently, I am taking Pre-Calc so I can reach 65 credits and get my Associate's. However, if I fail Pre-Calc (The first time I took Pre-Calc, I withdrew) and fail to get my Associate's, will Rutgers rescind my admission? I already paid my deposit and all that. So worried right now. Please give me an answer, thank you.

I would call admissions and ask to speak to someone about this rather than asking here.

I can 99% assure you a school will not rescind ur admission for one failed class. Now, if you have more than one F or even just one F and everything else are C’s…thats a different story. But I agree talking to a rep will answer this question for you.

well if he fails his class, he can’t get his associate degree.
