S received viewbook and application materials today, and I have a pre-application form question. If one decides ED, do you have to submit the Common Application Early Decision Agreement with the pre-application? No, S is not considering ED; I'm just a curious parent going through the mail with S' permission. :) Also, I've never had a chance to look closely at the Common Application, so this was a good way to get indoctrinated.

When you apply ED, yes you must submit the common app early decision agreement signed by the GC and d by you the parent

here is the link to the common application:

here is the link to the downloadable forms so that you can print them out

I am still waiting for the viewbook :)

You can also get the view book on-line

last year, the ED supplement did not need to be signed by the GC, it was just submitted electronically by student.

Hey Blue,

How is your traveler?

The 2008 ED agreement has signatures for parent(s) and GC.

You don't have to send it with the pre-application, just with the application. On-line application materials can't actually be signed in the way hard copy can.

I got mine yesterday, too, haha. :D Still not sure whether I'm going to apply or not, but it certainly peaked my interest a bit.

you mean piqued?

I suppose I will get them a little later because I am an International student :)

you mean piqued?

Yeah. Sorry about that.

In my opinion, they did an awesome job with the viewbook this year!

Where can I ask for the viewbook? I don't want to download it. How can I receive it in the mail?

tux: Sign up on the mailing list on the Dartmouth home page!

Cheers! :)

I just did, thanks.

I got my application and view book today! Though I have already read the view book online, I will read it once more! :D
