How do colleges (especially the ivies) view online courses? My schedule probably won't work out next year, and I'll probably have to take 5/7 classes online. They are AP designated courses. . . I'm just concerned about how it will look that I took a lot of courses online senior year.

since when were online courses inferior?

I didn’t know if they were! I’m sorry if I offended you. I’m new to the world of online courses, and I didn’t know what the general view was. I don’t want to f-ck myself over because I took 5 online courses. . .

nah you didn’t offend me…

So is it a bad idea?

So far as I know, colleges don’t look down on online courses; if anything, they see them as a sign of maturity, because there’s no teacher that makes you sit down and do the work. The problem is, that’s also the bad thing about taking so many online courses; nobody makes you sit down and do the work, so if you are not disciplined you may not do well.

I plan on being disciplined! I just don’t want to seem like a loser for taking online classes - even though I couldn’t help it.

I’ve never heard anyone say that online classes are less valued, or make you look like some sort of loser. If you feel that you will be able to, then go for it!
