<p>Hey I'm a junior and I really want to go to Villanova. I have a 3.8 unweighted and a 4.3 weighted, 1220 SATs and 29 ACT. I took the SAT for the first time last month. I also have been on varsity Crew for three years. What do you think are my chances? Also I'm looking for some safety schools in the northeast.....any ideas?</p>

<p>you look good for villanova! and what about some state schools for safeties? they are cheaper and it is usually apparent that if you have the scores and grades you are most likely going to get admitted (subjective materials don’t come into play as much as in a private institution)</p>

<p>Thanks…yeah I grew up in the Philly area and I miss it…that’s why I want to go to villanova…I have heard temples campus is in a sketchy area…</p>
<p>Temple’s campus is actually quite nice now. There are some wonderful buildings. The surrounding area isn’t great, but neither is Penn’s. Students come and go all the time on public transportation to and from Temple and it is easy to get downtown and to sporting events, concerts etc. It is worth a look.</p>
