@Hokiedokie2015 I don’t know who you email. But they took down a lot of people’s hs transcript a few days ago. They may have it im not sure but I wouldn’t worry too much about it
also how do we know that that girl accepted was a transfer???
I wasn’t sure also so I was a little creepy and looked at her tweets to see if she talked about college at all. And she did she said she was a sophomore in college
oh damn well that means they’re checking apps now! probably going through the 2 year college students before the one year transfers id assume.
Guys I seriously think y’all should stop worrying so much. Worrying about missing parts of your application is understandable but if y’all keep freaking out over hokie birds and who was and wasn’t accepted you’re going to go nuts. Not to mention potentially set yourself up for a big let down. I’m not saying I’m more experienced than y’all but I’m 24, and facing an unknown future getting out of the military with bills and priorities. So I’m telling you as a person that should be equally worried, that no matter what happens it’s not worth all this stuff y’all are putting yourselves through. Y’all’s worrying has me worrying about y’all lol. Try and stay away from CC and your status pages for a day or two. Embrace life in the moment that your in, you never know it could be the last day or two before your life is changed forever
@Veteran4VT Well said!
Hi guys! could someone chance me? I am a freshman. my first semester I went to the University of Arizona but I did’t like it so I transferred to NOVA. I took 10 credits at Arizona, Nutrition, English and Psychology. This semester at NOVA I’m taking 17 credits, SPAN 101, BIO 101, MTH 166, and ENG 112. This summer I am taking CHEM and MTH 157. I want to be an animal science major.
Oh, I also left Arizona with a 3.7
Your stats sound wonderful! @Mvryn28 ! It also looks like you have basic requirements out of the way (English, Math, Science, etc…). Good luck! Hopefully we’ll be seeing those hokie birds soon.
Hi @Mvryn28! I’m basically in the same boat as you are! I went to longwood but did not like it and ended up coming to nova. I am also taking summer classes to make sure I do all of the requirements. My first semester I only took 4 classes, but I am hoping that that’s okay with them I wish I took more but I was in a developmental math and I needed to make sure I’d pass out of that class in order to take a math that counts this semester. (Developmental math doesn’t give you credit) but your stats sound well! I got a 4.0 this semester. I hope we get in (:
Has anyone talked to admissions and know when birds should start?
I’m sure y’all will know when someone gets a hokie bird they’re going to say something on here, probably no need to ask 10 times a day.
@hokiedokie @ashleydawn okay great! i hope we get in! I’m going on Feb 6 to do the in person application review. fingers crossed!
Sorry if I come off parental or rude, I’ve just been following these threads since I started my transfer process 3 years ago and I’m trying to save some of y’all from the turmoil I’ve seen the past years.
@Veteran4VT I completely understand where you’re coming from. I went through the nerves and everything senior year during acceptance time. It’s hard to remain patient, but it’s what’s best.
Here’s some advice to everyone, only check your status page like twice a day. Also, try not to over think it, as it will not help. What happens is what happens!
@Veteran4VT please share your experience (turmoil, too). We cannot help but feel anxious … The good thing is it only happens once in a lifetime for most. Right? so be anxious, be all you can be!
It’s nice out and birds are in the yard but where are the hokies? c’on bae! come to my yard! best of luck to VCCS’ers!
@mvryn28 oh my gosh let me know if you get in! that’s exciting
apparently they aren’t even requiring HS transcripts. I spoke with the office today. Does anyone know though, I am at a 4 year school, but the head of transfer admissions said I would be with the priority kids, does that mean first week of Feb?
Priority review and Instant decisions are for VCCS transferred kids in first week of Feb
