I am a Korean and I heard that this shooting was done by a KOREAN ENGLISH MAJOR. Will this affect Korean students' admissions in the future?

If anything will happen, nothing will happen. Good luck!

I doubt that anyone would use this horrible incident as a reason to deny admission to Koreans. The shootings appear to be a reflection of the shooter's mental health problems, not the fact that he was Korean.

No, it won't. Anything that does happen will more than likely be called 'unwarranted discrimination.'

^^ I agree entirely. No reason to be worried.

I would hope this won't affect the admissions, but most likely there will be no reason to get worried about it.

No, don't worry about it.
But you never know, Japanese had been sent to concentration camps before..

The Japanese people started a war with America... while the VT tragedy isn't to be taken lightly, I mean comeon... you can't even make that comparison... it was WORLD WAR 2...

Cvjn, I wasn't serious in my last post :)
But still, it was wrong to send them to concentration camps; they were innocent.

True :) (10 chars)

troll ?

Korean Admissions- No
VTech Admissions- Percent of people who accept the offer will plummet
