Well, while talking about my stats I had 3.7 in my Freshman year and 4 in first semester of 2nd year.

@csmith46 i applied to pamplin also with extremely similar stats! Hopefully we all get birds soooooonnn

I am with you @collegrabra…This is our week for a bird from Pamplin…I FEEL IT!!

To everyone waiting to get the Hokie bird- have you completed your math and science gen eds? I applied last year with the same stats I have now, but I hadn’t done my two basic college math and science lab classes. I was not admitted because they weren’t done. Granted this only probably applies to Sophomores and up… but anyways I did those and was admitted this time around.

@JennyK13 Have completed the science and lab requirement…Am taking statistics this semester and put on my app that I am taking calculus in summer school. Guess we shall see if that is enough…I am currently finishing my freshman year at Clemson

CONGRATS HOKIES!

@clemtransfer @collegebra I applied to Pamplin and I got accepted

I have completed macro, micro, managerial accounting, financial accounting, calculus, business law, business info tech, and english, theater, physics, etc with a cumulative GPA of 3.85 after 64 credits!

I completed calculus and im in stat this semester along with english and chemistry with lab, so ill have them done at the end of this semester

My son is so thrilled. He just heard he was accepted.

It’s true about that Hokie bird sign: “THE Hokie bird to really look out for is the infamous credit evaluation one. It’s a very good sign!” It sure proved true in my son’s case!

Congratulations to your son! It’s a great feeling to be a hokie!

Has anyone gotten their VT email or PID number yet, after paying the matriculation fee?

@JennyK13 You make your VT email and PID once you have your official accepted major and student ID number.

Thanks! Were you able to do it already? How long did it take for you to get it? I’m so ready to get that all sorted out. :)

I was able to, but I already have gotten my paper acceptance letter. Yours should come sometime this week! :D

Just got accepted and would like to mention I had the hokie bird also. Good luck to the waiting.

anyone get any hokie birds recently? This week has been real quiet! Can’t help but think no news is bad news…

JennyK13 - if you paid online then it takes about 2-3 business days for your payment to be processed. For mailed in checks maybe up to 5-7 business days. You will see the ‘decision’ box on your application status page change to ‘acceptance’ when payment has been fully processed, after that you will have access to HokieSpa to create your PID #, etc.

@rottenapples…silence on my end…nothing… Figuring I have until a week from Friday to get a hokie bird…

I too am not feeling very positive…

no hokie bird for me either…but I have a feeling in a week or so we’ll start seeing some more. don’t be worried yet! we still have an entire month

@gigagirl- I got it all today, including the acceptance letter and set up my account. Thanks! It’s so exciting!
