Hello,

I am visiting UR in three weeks. UR is my first choice school, and I am applying ED and also to the REMS program. I have set up an interview, tour, and information session. I was wondering if there is anything other I should make sure to do while I am there to experience Rochester completely. Any tips or advice for the weekend. Thank you very much for your time and any advice.

Twirlon

Dinosaur BBQ.

When D and I were leaving to move her in at UR, we overheard the folks behind us in the boarding line rave about his place--and we live way far away! Random strangers in our layover city also raved about it when we chatted w/ folk we met in the airport. Also friends here at home now tell me it's been featured on the Food Channel...

We had dinner there and it's definitely worth the trip! (Ask at the admissions office, they have a handout w/ directions and a map.)

D also enjoyed seeing the Eastman campus as part of her tour.

And depending on where you're coming from and if you have a car-- Niagara Falls is only about an hour away. I'd never been to the Falls before. It seemed crazy to fly 2000 miles across the country and not drive 70 miles out of my way to see one of great natural wonders of the world. It was well worth the drive.
