What’s the best way to travel from Houston, TX to Brown U? We don’t have any non-stop flight to T.F. Green airport. So either we have to take 6+ hr flight or take a short non-stop flight to Boston Logan airport and drive to Providence. I’d appreciate any feedback.
Boston to Providence is just an easy one hour drive depends traffic.
Don’t You have any other college to visit in Boston area?
^^agreed. Try to land noon-ish to avoid driving in rush hour which starts by 2:30 in the Boston area. The drive is generally easy.
Thanks for your information!
The train from Boston to Providence is also very easy and car rental, if needed, is typically cheaper in Providence. Although you don’t really need a car in Providence if you’re okay with Lyft or Uber on occasion. Another option is flying into Hartford BDL, although that drive is a bit longer.
You can take the Amtrak from South Station in Boston. Then just a medium-length walk to Brown. We ended up not renting a car. Actually we stayed in Boston and just made a day trip to Providence.
