Visiting Georgia need some help finding cheapest ride.

Is there a cheap way to get from Atlanta to Athen? I don't want to spend too much money on Taxi. I will be going with my cousin, and we will be visiting Emory, G Tech, and UGA. We will fly from PA to Atlanta, then we will begin our college tour, but this is going to be our first time in GA, so we need some help. Are there any buses or trains?

Thanks.

[AAA Airport Express, Athens Schedule](http://www.aaaairportexpress.com/routes/athens.html) for Atlanta Airport to Athens

Emory and Tech are accessible via MARTA (subway and bus).

It has been a few years since my D1 graduated from UGA, but there was a shuttle service that ran from the airport to Athens.

Do we need to be accompanied by adults when we visit the school?? I am not 18 yet.

The shuttle is $45 one-way, so it’s pretty expensive. A less expensive but less flexible option is Greyhound- it’s $20 one-way on Greyhound and the bus station in Athens is right next to the university while the bus station in Atlanta is right on the MARTA line from the airport, so it takes a bit longer but is far less expensive. You should be able to get to Tech on the MARTA line too and Emory using buses.
