Visiting NYC from Cornell?

shortline is 70, campus to campus is 150. shortline drops you at port authority, takes about 5 hrs because it makes a stop in binghamton and some city in nj briefly. campus 2 campus drops you at the cornell club in midtown. i think you can purchase online. there is a place called “student agencies” in collegetown that sells tickets (409 college ave). i think they do a discount for students going on fridays where it costs 50 or 60 instead of 70. that being said,if you can afford it campus to campus is great. they have a coffee machine on board, nice big tables to do work on, fully reclining leather chairs, plugs for laptops, wifi, etc.

Didnt someone say the shortline has wifi too? If it does then I think that’s all I would really need haha.

no the shortline most definitely doesn’t have wifi.

there used to be a ride sharing board at The Straight, is there not an- e-replacement for it nowadays, someplace? On a given weekend, there are probably lots of people driving from Ithaca to NYC area and back.

where can u purchase shortline online??

there was a ride share on cornell’s site, but it got shut down because no one ever used it. craigslist and the carpool application on facebook are both useful. as are listservs and word of mouth :)
