If we visit PSU on Sept. 2, which is a home game, and stay offsite, like in Altoona, where would we park on the 3rd to see my son at PSU?

Is this a riddle????

LOL,, I have no idea.

There are three parking garages in town; I would think if you got in early enough you could get a spot in one of them (esp if it's an afternoon or evening game). There is also parking on the streets when you get beyond the downtown area. Most of it is two-hour, but the parking police often let that slide on event weekends (no guarantees though).

Bring lots of quarters and use them. When we moved our son into his apartment my husband insisted we did not need to feed the meters in front of his building "because we were moving in a student". Duh, all the kids there are students and when I ran out of quarters and gave up we came back an hour later from buying books and there was a nice pink parking ticket.
Since then, we always bring lots of quarters.
BTW there is a web page on parking in State College as well as one on parking on campus - have to look around for it (I used it two years ago when we were planning on coming to the first football game of the season) I do know it involved moving our car from one lot to another for the night. I will see if I can find more info.
