I'm an admitted student and am planning to do an overnight in the beginning of April. Right now I'm scheduled to do the overnight on a Friday and was thinking about attending a class or two that day. This will be my second time visiting so I don't plan on taking a tour or going to an information session. But other than overnight and the class, are there any other activities that I should make time for while I'm there? - like if there are admitted student events or anything like that.

If you are coming for one of our April Program overnights (Thursday night overnight programs during April), there will be organized events for admitted student visitors. If you’re coming for a regular overnight visit on the Friday, while you are welcome to go to classes and engage with students on campus, we won’t have any “official” activities set up for you- so, you’re welcome to explore! I recommend asking your host if there is an Off-Off Campus improv comedy production that night, or perhaps seeing a movie at Doc Films, our student-run movie theater on campus.

events.uchicago.edu is also a good resource.
