aiite guys im sorta confused right now...so if anyone that lives in vista can help me out i'd be really greatful.
1. if i apply right now but don't get enough financial aid to pay for it will i be fined or something if i turn it down?
2. on my fafsa i put off-campus. but on the uci ofas website it asks if i want to change my housing to vista del campo. if i do change it and they give me some money but i can't make up the rest will i be able to give it back or will i have to make up the rest?
3. for everyone else: was the EFC on the fafsa really all you had to end up paying? or did you have to pay more?

Your an incoming Freshman yea? I believe VDC is for Sophomores.

Are you an incoming freshman, transfer, or current student? Cause Vista del Campo and Vista del Campo Norte are both for sophomores and up.
Freshman have two choices this year: Mesa Court or Middle Earth.

ah lol ok nvm then.

freshmen can also pick arroyo vista

^Not next year. They’ve pulled back to having freshmen only in MC and ME.

really? that sucks

Jennifer, are freshmen enjoying living in AV? I was curious to how that was working out for folks. (And thanks for all the good dorm info you’ve been providing… you too, Theaterluver.)

no problem i don’t really know a lot of freshmen who are living in AV right now but two friends of mine (current 2nd years) loved AV… it’s a bit further from campus so you have to shuttle in, but you don’t have to buy a meal plan so that’s cheaper. they really liked the house they lived in and the people, and after the year ended a lot of them ended up dorming together
