Not sure of your question. Are you on a block schedule? So you take three classes one semester and three different ones the next?

The UC VAPA requirement can be fulfilled by two semesters of a college prep class that could be theatre, orchestra, or hands-on art such as ceramics, etc., and the AP courses, such as Art History (great course for science geeks btw, since its all just memorization) & Studio Art.

I am on a block schedule however, there are 2-semster contiguous blocks
(3+3 credits) and single semester block (3 credits) subjects. Most VPA-like
course at my school tend to be electives that are 3-credits only.

Being Out-Of-State my public school does not have a pre-approved list of
courses that UC (Berkeley in particular) accepts.

So What have OOS applicants typically submitted for the OOS requirements
and was there any special porcess required to okay their VPA requirements?

You may also want to check to see if any semester long community college classes will fulfill this requirement for you. My son is in state, but he did his VPA in one semester at the local CC versus a year the high school.

the community colleges have both transferable and non-UC transferable courses, so beware! I took a semester of photo 1 at my cc, but made sure that it specifically stated "uc transferable". I'd ask UC about this, since they dinged the course that I took in HS that was SUPPOSED to fulfill VPA, but didn't.
