I keep hearing that Notre Dame loves to see students that are selfless and consistently volunteer their time throughout high school. Is there any evidence as to how much volunteering they want? I reported about 250 hours of volunteering spread between 2 programs. Given that time, is that part of my application strong?
Yep, especially if the hours were devoted to things you are involved in long term. Remember, though, the rest of your application has to be extremely strong, particularly in the REA round.
Agree with the above post. Admissions office has said that you don’t have to be involved in a lot of different activities, if you show obvious commitment and dedication to those that you are involved in. I would think 250 hours shows that kind of commitment.
