Which university would you recommand for business major?

JMU is ranked 44th by business week. JMU has better teachers compared to VT not sure about GMU. You could get lost in the crowd at VT and become just a number, but at JMU its more hands on and better for the students.

I would agree...JMU is best for business. GMU is good but more the feel of a commuter college. JMU: great business school, real college campus, and not so large you are just a number.

Id say either VT or JMU, depends on which type of school you prefer. Its a choice between a big D-1 school or a more personal feel. Im taking a few business classes at VT right now an I can tell you they are pretty good. Fyi, the person who said that JMU has better teachers than VT could not be further from the truth. Anyway, you should take some campus tours and figure out for yourself which school fits you.

I really don't think you could go wrong with any of them. All have reputable business schools; all have positives going for them, i. e., networking possibilities, good reputations for being solid schools academically (VT and JMU), proximity to major businesses/companies(GMU)..... If you were asking to choose UVA's business school vs. these you would have a clear cut leader, but not with these three.

It just depends on which schools suits you best. Do you have the opportunity to visit each? I personally know three recent b school grads (two- three years removed), from each of these schools and all were recruited and found jobs straight out after graduation.
(I am sure they- and their folks- are glad commencement was three years ago!)

VT and GMU are both larger, but I haven't heard any current or past students I know say that they "felt like a number" at either place. To the contrary, they have been very happy at each. VT has a great rep for its tight knit community and GMU is getting better all of the time. JMU is terrific. You've got three super opportunities; best of luck to you on your choice!
