Excuse Me, I am a high school senior and I wanted to apply to Virginia tech.
My GPA up to My J. Year is (3.82) unweighted
My first SAT score was 1200/1600
This Year I’m taking 3 AP Classes and One Honors
What do you think my chances are of getting accepted and should I do Early Decision or wait till Jan. And Apply Regular.
In general I would apply ED if: 1) the school is your absolute top choice 2) you don’t think your application will improve appreciably in the next few months (ex. don’t plan to retake standardized tests, get a huge award etc.) and 3) you have no need to compare financial offers between schools (VA Tech is affordable).
It is my top choice so far, but what do you think my chances are of getting in ?
