<p>I was wait-listed to LAS and I was wondering, how many people get in from the waitlist every year? Also when is the decision for waitlisted students be made. I want to know if I actually have a shot at going to this school. </p>

<p>Go to U of I's website under Freshman Admissions Facts and Questions. It details wait list info. Bottomline, 1190 people were offered wait list positions last year, 678 accepted and 66 students ultimately moved off the waitlist inot the Freshman class. Wait list action takes place in June. My D was wait-listed LAS too.</p>
