I just got a 2100 on the January SAT, and now I plan to focus on all my AP tests and sports. I have done rigorous studying for the SAT these past few months and if I wait until this summer to study again for it, will the waiting and re-studying affect my score negatively?
Is it ok to wait until this fall? Or should I retake this semester while the test-making mind-set is still fresh in my head?
Any advice from past experiences or observations is appreciated:)

If you want to focus on other things, waiting until October should be fine as long as you just refresh yourself every few weeks by taking a couple practice sections.

I took my first SAT in January of junior year, then again in October of senior year and the score improved. There’s nothing wrong with waiting, just be sure to keep sharp like silverturtle suggested.

so, “keep sharp” means working on a couple practice sections per month? What else? My plan is the same with samd’s. I really want to concentrate on my projects, music, APs for a while but meanwhile I also really want to score higher next spring in SAT. Please suggest something as long term study plan, esp. reading and writing, including essay. (I wouldn’t worry about math too much.)

OK. Thank you for the advice,
@luv2sk8 if your vocab is kinda mediocre like mine just do like 3 vocab words a day plan or w.e.
as for a long term study plan, google it, thers alot of guides on that
