Did anyone get accepted yesterday to CBS.
Does any body have the figures for CSE- is it equally tough to get in ?
Here are the admission stats for the fall of 2014 incoming class: http://admissions.tc.umn.edu/admissioninfo/fresh_faq.html

People call and withdraw every day so keep hope.
D just sent in her withdraw. She was accepted to CLA but chose a school out east. Good luck to those on the waitlist - my guess is that the number of withdraws will accelerate the closer we get to May 1.
Mamelot - kudos to your D for officially withdrawing her name. (many don’t take/make the time) Also, good luck to her (and you) during the next 4 amazing years!
I was waitlisted to CSE with a 3.9 GPA and 32 ACT. I was told by admissions chances of getting into CSE at this point are slim, so I switched my school choice to CLA. Think it’s still possible to get into CLA off the waitlist at this point (considering my numbers are much higher than the Fall 2014 averages)?
This is a bit random and obviously way late in this discussion, but I have one point to add in response to @Therevolutionary. You’d be surprised by the number of kids with stats like you mentioned (4.0 GPA, 2200 SAT, 33 ACT, etc.) who choose U of M, and not because they weren’t accepted somewhere else. Their honors program is stellar, and the research opportunities also attract great students, especially to CBS, CSE, and Carlson. I don’t mean to be rude at all, just wanted to give a different perspective.
Did anyone get off the waitlist?
